Viewers have been complaining that they would have to wait maybe another year for the third season to be released, especially since the first season was released three years ago.

However, Netflix may have accidentally revealed its release date. The streaming service’s official social media accounts shared a teaser introducing Chul-su, much like the post-credit scene.
When the teaser was posted on YouTube, the caption included June 27, 2025, as Squid game 3the release date. It was quickly stripped and edited to remove this date.
Now, netizens are speculating whether it was an accident or misinformation. Some think it’s marketing.
