Jaehyun will enlist for military service after his solo debut
On September 26, Jaehyun’s agency SM Entertainment released an official statement confirming this the NCT member is preparing for his mandatory military enlistment.
“Jaehyun from NCT applied for the Army Band and received an acceptance notification from the Military Manpower Administration today. As a result, he is scheduled to enlist as an active duty soldier on Nov. 4 to fulfill his mandatory service“, reads the statement.
“On the day he entered the recruit training center, there will be no official event to avoid security incidents due to the congestion caused by the presence of so many soldiers and their families“he added.
The news comes just a month after his highly anticipated solo debut in August, leaving fans with mixed emotions. Although his enlistment marks a temporary hiatus in his career, fans are proud of his solo achievements and eagerly await his return.
Jaehyun, known for his versatility, has left an indelible mark as a singer and performer in NCT.
