A father sent a message to his son whose family was on vacation in Thailand. However, his message remained unread.
Family: Son, you will come home tomorrow, right? There was a plane crash today from Bangkok to Muan. Please contact me.
Two sons waited for their mother at Muan International Airport, only to see her not return. Their mother had gone on a trip with friends after battling cancer for a year.
Passengers: Son, a friend of mine sent me some tangerines from Jeju and they are in front of the door. Could you bring him in?
Family: Ah, those were mandarins?
A group chat revealed a family member’s last message before the accident.
Passengers: We’re leaving tonight. Mom, have you arrived in Gyeongju?
Family member: Come back safe and sound! It’s really cold.
Family member: Come back safe and sound! They are with my uncles in Uljin.
Passengers: Ok, I will contact you tomorrow. Have fun, mom.
Family: Ok~
This was the last message a passenger’s mother received from her daughter.
Passengers: We board the plane early in the morning. Probably around 3am KST?
Family: Is it five o’clock over there? Come back safe and sound.
Passengers: It’s 4:19 now.
