On October 6, Minhyuk held the “2024 MINHYUK Fan Event” at YES24 Live Hall in Seoulwith two sessions at 1pm and 5pm. This marked his first official offline appearance after completing his military service on October 3making it a special occasion for both him and his fans.
The event did not have a designated MC, allowing Minhyuk to take charge of the entire program and connect directly with his fans on a more personal level. She made a surprise entrance from the back of the venue, holding a bouquet of flowers as she made her way to the stage. Once there, he formally announced his leave, officially marking his return. The theme of the event, ‘Let’s go! Whale,’ it had a personal meaning to Minhyuk, and he took time to explain its meaning and the symbolic “flower shoes” that he unveiled during the event.
In the “Let’s go!” In the Whale segment, Minhyuk shared stories from his military service, focusing on his time with the military band and his involvement in creating cheer videos for the Paris Olympics. He encouraged fans to share their thoughts and experiences, fostering an engaging and interactive atmosphere. Additionally, he shared personal photos from his discharge, giving fans a glimpse into his post-military life. One of the highlights of the event was Minhyuk’s special saxophone performance, a surprise that showcased his musical talent and left a lasting impression on the audience.
