mnet has already been accused of “bad editing” and “disrespect” towards the teams in the first episode of Road To Kingdom: Ace of Aces.
It seemed like Mnet was ready to unleash “chaos” from the very beginning.
Upon entry, teams received a card showing the rankings obtained by the other groups. YOUNG‘S Eunsang he picked up the paper and, predictably, declared himself “angry” after seeing that they had ranked last.
After seeing the result, Mnet tried to highlight Eunsang’s character, showing him as annoyed and unwilling to be friendly with other teams because of the ranking.
Even when the leaders shook hands, they showed that Eunsang was not willing to do so, which led to the last place in the rankings.
Internet users immediately realized what was happening.

As if that wasn’t enough, netizens have been particularly focused on Mnet’s treatment of CRAVITY.

When it came to the first final results, exclusion from the group stage meant that CRAVITY finished in last place, despite being the second oldest and most experienced group (after A).
When it became a hot topic on Reddit, as an OP shared his anger over CRAVITY’s treatment, netizens were quick to remind them that Mnet is known for evil editing and that tearjerking stories can be frustrating, but it’s something that happens often, especially to idols with more exposure. Some CRAVITY fans even said that the first episode made them not want to watch it because they were worried about the group’s image.
