The movie, which is believed to be part of the internal assessments of the YG Entertainment trainee, includes Miyeon, a former trainee who is now a member of the success group (G) I-Tile.
While the video circulated online, many fans quickly highlighted Miyeon’s strong vocal skills, observing that his tone and control distinguished themselves during the performance. The supporters argued that, if he had debuted with the group, he could have added a fresh and unique dimension to the overall sound and the musical identity of Blackpink.
However, the answer was not entirely unilateral. Some spectators have raised concerns about Miyeon’s adaptation within the group’s dynamics, questioning whether its theatrical presence and energy have aligned with the chemistry already established among other members.
In addition to the video OT5, other leaked clips have aroused controversy, in particular those who show the members Jennie, Lisa and Rosé who perform rap covers containing the word N. while some fans defended the idols, citing their young age at the time and the fact that they were covering existing texts, others criticized the lack of cultural awareness and they asked for those songs place.
These losses are part of a wider question currently that is taking place, involving an anonymous figure who claims to be a former YG Entertainment employee. Known online as Leaker YG, the individual threatened to exhibit further sensitive information on Blackpink, YG artists and even other K-Pop agencies, increasing tensions in the sector and among fans.
