Minji and Danielle of Newjeans attend judicial mediation in the dispute on Ador’s contract

On August 14, the members of Newjeans Minji and Danielle appeared at the Central District Seoul Court for a mediation session in their continuous controversy on the exclusive contract with Ador.

Division 41 of the Civil Agreement of the Central District Court of SEoul held the session as part of the Ador cause in search of confirmation of the validity of the group’s exclusive contract. The procedure was conducted behind closed doors, at the request of the court, to deal with the sensitive nature of the case.

Safety was visibly accentuated. The bodyguards have been lined up and the barricades marked as “limited access” were placed in front of the courtroom. Minji and Danielle, surrounded by a crowd of journalists, entered without making statements before heading directly to mediation behind closed doors.

If no agreement is reached, the process – at the time concluded in terms of topics – will proceed to a verdict scheduled for 30 October.
