Friday, September 27 KST, ex I LOVE IT CEO Min Hee Jin attended an event at the Hyundai Card Davinci Motel as speaker. He spoke extensively about his ongoing feud with MOVES.

During her speech, Min Hee Jin talked about her experience working at SM Entertainment (SME). She joined SME in 2002 as a graphic designer and was then promoted to creative director. In 2017, she became a member of the board of directors but left the company in 2018 due to burnout.

Early in his tenure at SME, Min recalled struggling with the company’s lack of adequate systems. She even thought about quitting her job, but stayed back because some good opportunities came her way.

Remembering his previous boss, Lee Soo Manfounder and former CEO of SME, Min revealed that he gave her full freedom while she was only deputy director.

At the time, producer Lee Soo Man said, “Isn’t he pretty smart?” I was deputy director at the time, but he sent an email to the team leaders saying, “Since you guys don’t know graphics, listen to it.”

Min also shared his perspective on the relationships with superiors he gained while working at SME. “There is no solution when working with superiors. Each garment has a different personality,” he explained. Min said that to work with superiors you have to build your know-how with tenacity, without resentment.

Amid the legal battle between Min Hee Jin and HYBE, the former ADOR CEO’s praise for his former boss and his company has attracted significant attention. Netizens believe that her experience at SME has transformed her into a person who does not bend easily. Many also compared Lee Soo Man’s attitude to that of HYBE’s president Bang Si Hyukcriticizing the latter.
