On November 27, the Civil Settlements Division 31 of the Seoul Central District Court, led by Judge Nam In-soo, held the third hearing in the ongoing case between Min Hee-jin and HYBE, focusing on the termination of the shareholder agreement and Min’s put option request.
Appearing in court for direct examination, Min addressed the controversy, stating: “I never pushed Hanni to attend the National Assembly hearing.”
The speculation stems from an incident in 2024 when Hanni revealed during a YouTube live stream that another artist’s manager told her to “ignore her.” This led New Jeans fans to submit a formal complaint to the Ministry of Employment and Labour. Subsequently, in October 2024, Hanni voluntarily appeared before the National Assembly’s Committee on Environment and Labor as a witness, where she shared her personal experiences of mistreatment.
Min firmly rejected accusations of manipulation, stating: “Members of the NewJeans are incredibly intelligent and capable of good judgment. They are not the type to blindly follow anyone’s orders.” He added, “I actually felt sorry that Hanni had to go alone and even thought about accompanying her. I wish people wouldn’t treat them like they were naive or naive.”

Currently, ADOR has officially announced the return of members Hyein and Haerin, while holding discussions with Minji, Danielle and Hanni. Meanwhile, Min Hee-jin has launched a new label called OOAK, signaling her next chapter in the K-pop industry.
