MOM MOM‘S Hwasa is receiving praise for his recent comments on YOU.
During his appearance on the YouTube show The K-Star next door, Hwasa shared the behind-the-scenes story of her “K-Shoe Thief” incident, spoke candidly about her school days, and more.
When asked which fourth and fifth generation idols she would like to collaborate with, Hwasa chose ILLIT.
This group of five girls, formed through the survival show RU Next?, made his debut under BE:LIFT Lab in March 2024.
Why ILLIT? “In reality, everyone is beautiful, handsome and good,” Hwasa said, referring to fourth and fifth generation idols. “I’ll be happy to work with anyone. But considering what happened, how about ILLIT? I want to see how shocking it would be.”
After jokingly saying that the ILLIT would “finally get rich” after working with Hwasa, guest Jonathan Yombi he gave his consent to the collaboration.
What did Hwasa mean by “what happened”? Some netizens believe that Hwasa is referring to her cover of ILLIT’s song “Magnetic.” Considering how viral the cover went, a collaboration between Hwasa and ILLIT would almost certainly generate buzz.

Hwasa chose ILLIT because they mentioned on the show that a fancam of Hwasa dancing to “Magnetic” got 10 million views and Hwasa wants to see how shocking a collaboration with them would be.

However, other netizens think that Hwasa may be trying to show her support for ILLIT, alluding to the current controversy plaguing the group.

Hyejin is a reasonable woman and whenever she speaks she means what she says, I don’t think she said it just for the TikTok video, she probably knows how people are treated and has seen all the Kmedia articles hating her.
