MAMAMOO’s Whee In will return to Manila on November 8 at SM North EDSA Skydome for its “OWHEECE” fan concert tour.
The event marks his second solo concert appearance in the Philippines, following “WHEE IN THE MOOD [BEYOND]“ World tour stop in April 2024. Tickets are priced between PHP 5,000 and PHP 12,000 and are available through SM Tickets outlets and smtickets.com.
The fan concert has an interactive format designed to highlight both the music and personality of Whee In. The event features fan-focused segments that differentiate it from a traditional concert experience, allowing attendees to interact more directly with the artist. VIP ticket holders have access to a post-talk session, group and 1:1 photos, and entry into raffles for signed merchandise. All participants will receive special photo cards exclusive to the event.
Whee In’s solo career has developed a distinctive musical identity since he began his independent projects. His discography includes the singles “Aftertaste”, “Butterfly” and “Blossom Flower”, the latter featured in the South Korean coming-of-age film “It’s Okay”.
His solo releases demonstrate his evolution as an artist, building about the vocal prowess and genre-blending approach he brought to MAMAMOO. His debut solo album, In the moodreleased in October 2023, it established his solo artistic direction and laid the foundation for his expanding fan base outside of the group’s collective projects.
The Manila concert is organized by Three Angles Production, with the co-organization of ON Worldwide. The show starts at 6pm. Ticket sales began on October 5 at noon through SM Tickets platforms. Prior to her appearance in Manila, Whee In previously performed in the Philippines with MAMAMOO during their “MY:CON” world tour in February 2023 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The “OWHEECE” tour. comprehends numerous Asian cities, including Seoul, Taipei, Singapore, Macau and Kaohsiung, reflecting his growing prominence as a solo artist in the region. The Manila stop continues Whee In’s momentum following its established presence in Philippine entertainment markets.
