LISA lands the fashion cover of “V Magazine” ahead of the release of her second solo album in February

LISA, known from her stint in mega group BLACKPINK for her do-it-all repertoire, is setting her sights on the world of fashion.

The solo artist, who is supposedly currently working on his second solo album Alter Ego, got coverage for V magazine.

The magazine announced that the superstar will appear in its pages on January 7, for its spring 2025 preview issue (V152), which launches on January 13.

Faithful to V magazine Traditionally, the cover has been closely guarded and kept under wraps, with targeted nods to each of the cover’s themes through flowers, fruits, autumn previews and winter frosts.

An X magazine post offered more clues about the covers: “Let’s just say it’s inspired by new beginnings, the NEW YEAR, and the approaching LUNAR NEW YEAR,” the publication tweeted.

“Featuring not one, two or three but FOUR special covers, the global pop sensation is kicking off the new year and her latest musical era with V Magazine!” the outlet said.

“The music superstar helps us open an exciting issue with our latest ‘HEROES’ films about disco documentarian Sharon Smith and Belgian fashion treasure Walter von Beirendonck, meet seven of New York City’s fashion trendsetters, open the cabinet of spring curiosities with photographer Richard Burbridge and stylist Nicola Formichetti in the role of V reveal the best looks and accessories of SS25, and much more!”

LISA is ready to release her second studio album Alter Ego on February 28, 2025, through Lloud, his entertainment company, and RCA Records. The project marks her first solo release since leaving YG Entertainment and Interscope Records for solo endeavors in 2023. LISA released three singles from the album, “Rockstar,” “New Woman,” and “Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me)” in 2024.

Fans can pre-order the magazine here from January 7-12, with issues hitting newsstands worldwide starting January 21.
