Singer Tyla fired up Lisa and had a quick chat backstage after the Korean star’s solo performance at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards.
Following the success of BLACKPINK’s Lisa’s solo performance at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, South African singer-songwriter Tyla was spotted waiting backstage for the idol, shouting out the K-idol’s name.
Despite the overwhelming applause and joy, Lisa immediately saw the 02-liner singer and, with great happiness, hugged her and even greeted her by saying: “Hello, darling!”

The global superstar also gave a quick look at Tyla’s outfit for the evening and, just like a proud big sister, exclaimed: “Wow!”
The “Water” singer and the “Rockstar” singer have continued to share an undiminished closeness even after their first meeting earlier this year.

In March, the two stars sparked speculation that they were collaborating after Tyla shared a clip of Lisa performing her recently completed album.
The BLACKPINK member officially got her first listen and the African singer created anticipation when she wrote in the caption, “Definitely a LISA X TYLA collab in the future.”
It has been confirmed that Reuters was in talks with LLOUD and Lisa for a possible new song from the two artists!
