Second OSEN reports on September 14 that Woo Ji Won and his ex-wife (referred to as Ms. A) have mutually agreed to separate after years of marriage. The couple married in 2002 and, after nearly two decades together, finalized their divorce.
Although their marriage has ended, the two have two daughters and are busy doing their best as parents.
Woo Ji Won, known for his iconic nickname “Prince of the Court” during his college years at Yonsei University, was a beloved figure in Korean basketball. He played a significant role in the sport’s peak era, enjoying immense popularity throughout his career, which spanned from the 1990s to 2010. After a celebrated career, Woo retired in 2010.
After retirement, Woo shifted his focus to acting, debuting in theater and television dramas.
