Actress Lee Se Young, together with singer-actors Ong Seong Wu and Kang Seung Yoon, will star in the final episode of the three-part special series of the popular SBS show Story of the day you bite your tail. The show, known for its unique format of “storytellers” who share real-life cases with close friends in intimate settingshas gained consistent popularity since its pilot in 2020, even reaching a peak rating of 6.4%.
According to OSEN on January 21, the trio recently completed recording the segment for the show. The next episode concludes the Objective K series, which delves into transnational crimes targeting Korean citizens such as drug trafficking, murder, voice phishing and romance scams.
Kang Seung Yoon, a Story of the day you bite your tail veteran, returns for the fourth time, having previously participated in episodes involving high-profile cases such as the 1991 escape from Mogadishu and the murder of Sergeant Yeom Soon-deok. Meanwhile, this marks the Story of the day you bite your tail debut for Lee Se Young and Ong Seong Wu.
Lee Se Young’s appearance is particularly noteworthy as it is her first variety show following her departure from her agency after 11 years. As it prepares for major releases on Disney+ (The empress remarried) and Netflix (Long vacation), fans are eager to see her in this new environment. Ong Seong Wu also joins the cast ahead of the release of his upcoming tvN series Chilling romancemanufacturing Story of the day you bite your tail its first variety show of 2026.
Their episode, titled The business of evilwill explore the story of Frank Chinedu Obioha, an international drug kingpin who exploited Korean women as drug mules to smuggle narcotics across Southeast Asia and into Europe. The special continues on Objective K series, which previously featured stories about famous people like drug lord Park Wang-yeol and the real-life inspiration behind Narco-Saints.
