Lee Min-ho was a guest on tvN’s entertainment program “You Quiz on the Block” broadcast on the evening of December 25th.
That day, Lee Min-ho shared, “I played a chaebol in ‘Boys Over Flowers,’ but I was actually struggling financially at the time.”
He continued, “The situation was so serious that my family members had to disperse and live apart from each other. Mom had to be the breadwinner and I often thought about the burdens she carried at the time. Seeing mom’s small, lonely back looking at the numerous banknotes really broke my heart.” adding “I was still so young then, but I really wanted to share the burden with her. That’s why I wanted to find a job straight away.”
The actor confessed “After playing various roles for three years, I came across ‘Boys Over Flower’. I acted to earn a living”, he adds “After shooting several commercials, I gave mom about 1 million won and she really liked it. Mom is all I have. She is always there by my side. He respects and loves me unconditionally. Every time I seemed to be going off track, I looked back and she was always there. She is the most important thing in my life and she is the person I love the most.” expressing his extraordinary love for his mother.
