The teaser video of the new tvN Saturday-Sunday drama “When the Stars Gossip,” (formerly known as “Ask The Stars”), which will premiere on January 4, 2025, raises curiosity about the life of Lee Min Ho (who plays Gong Ryong ) and Gong Hyo Jin (who plays Eve Kim) beyond Earth.
The released video grabs attention from the start, showing people in chaos as a huge meteorite falls towards Earth. The sense of panic increases as Earth is left in ruins, on the brink of extinction, before a spaceship flies into space, carrying humanity’s last hope. Although the spaceship is in crisis, a courageous astronaut’s decision resolves the situation, sparking applause from the crowd.
While people hug and applaud, the narration, “A super-class space action that will take responsibility for the new year in 2025,” creates excitement. Meanwhile, the conversation between the tourists, Gong Ryong in a space suit and Eve Kim, attracts attention.
Gong Ryong, who is unfamiliar with space, asks: “Can we save the Earth if we go into space?” to which Eve Kim matter-of-factly responds with, “It’s going to be tough” causing laughter from the audience.
In particular, when Gong Ryong asks, “So what do we do if we go to space?” Eve Kim’s nonchalant response, “Gossip with the Stars” arouses curiosity about their daily life. Fans are eager to see what these two characters will do in space, beyond Earth’s gravity.
