The 2024 MAMA Awards took place on the afternoon of November 23 at the iconic Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan. The prestigious ceremony was hosted by actress Kim Tae-ri, who led the event with elegance and charm.
On this day, Lee Joo-bin went on stage with Im Si-wan to present the award for Best Girl Group. After announcing aespa as the winner, Lee Joo-bin took a step to the side but unexpectedly stumbled, eliciting a gasp from the audience. With a quick and thoughtful response, Im Si-wan immediately reached out and grabbed her hand for support.
Although visibly surprised by the incident, Lee Ju-bin composed herself and took a moment to catch her breath off stage. Meanwhile, the 2024 MAMA Awards kicked off on November 21 at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles and will be held in two chapters in Japan on November 22 and 23. Among the artists present at the event were G-Dragon, SEVENTEEN, (G)I-DLE, ZEROBASEONE, aespa, BIBI, MEOVV and INI.
