The singer and her husband have expressed their desire to have children.

Lee and her husband, Lee Sang soonthey have been married for eleven years and currently have no children. However, they have previously mentioned their desire to have children and also said they had been trying to conceive.
But Lee Sang Soon’s mother, Yoon Jung Hee, seems to have let go of that hope. Recently, she appeared in a YouTube video on a channel called Life is nothing special and talked at length about what it was like to have Lee Hyori as her daughter-in-law. While he showered Lee with praise, when the topic of children came up, he candidly confessed that he had given up on it.

She said she recently visited her son and daughter-in-law’s new home and felt the large space might be an ideal place to raise a child. Yoon added: “When I told Hyori that having a child would be nice, she said, ‘I know, right?'”
Yoon, however, also clarified that giving up their grandchildren does not reflect the couple’s decision. “I gave up, but I don’t know if they’re still thinking about having a baby instead of giving up.” he stated.
Lee Hyori has always openly expressed her desire to have children. Even recently, when she appeared on JTBC show Mom, will you come on a trip with me? the singer has expressed her desire to have a daughter. But he also talked about its practicality, mentioning that it was “too late” for her and didn’t want to go as far as IVF.
Before this, the singer had also spoken about her plans for children on other variety shows, including Hangout with Yoo AND Check in in Seoul. She had said that she and her husband were making efforts to conceive. Although they chose not to pursue IVF, they also tried herbal remedies and rigorous lifestyle changes.
