Lee Dong Wook’s agency issues strong warning about invasive fan behavior: ‘Unauthorized access and inappropriate letters’

On October 14th, King Kong from Starship released a public warning addressing repeated incidents of extreme fan behavior. The agency said “Recently, there have been continuous cases of people visiting the artist’s private residence and attending unofficial hours without permission, attempting to establish contact or leaving inappropriate letters, seriously violating his privacy.”

The agency stressed that such actions would no longer be tolerated, announcing, “We will take rigorous legal action against all forms of privacy violations, including visits to the artist’s home, intrusion into private spaces, monitoring of unofficial programs and leaking of personal information.”

They also addressed incidents involving international travel and schedules, warnings, “Obtaining flight information by illegal means, boarding the same flight as the artist, or attempting to approach him on the plane is also a violation of privacy and will result in legal consequences.”

The company concluded by urging fans to respect the actor’s personal boundaries: “These actions are clearly illegal. We kindly ask fans to cooperate and refrain from any behavior that may compromise the safety, privacy and rights of the artist.”
