At the Disney+ Originals Preview 2025 event held at the Disneyland Hotel Conference Center in Hong Kong on November 13, Lee Dong-wook spoke about A shop for assassins Season 2 during the Disney+ APAC content presentation.
“When I heard that they were going to make a second season, I definitely felt pressured“he confessed. “*The first season received so much love and I was hoping we could get even more this time.*”
He also expressed concern about the series’ director, stating, “*Creating a new storyline in itself is a heavy burden, so I did my best to support the director as much as possible.*”
Lee added that the mystery surrounding his character, Jinman, will continue in the second season. “The action will be even more intense and on a larger scale than in the first season”, he joked.
A shop for assassins tells the story of Jian (Kim Hye-jun), who becomes a target of deadly assassins after inheriting a dangerous legacy left by his enigmatic uncle Jinman (Lee Dong-wook).
