On September 19, Lee Min-Jung published a photo on social media showing her 21 month old daughter who wore a yellow hat and transported a teddy bear backpack. The tiny accessory, perfectly combined with its small frame, highlighted its cutery and melted the hearts of the fans.
The update came while Lee Min-Jung’s husband, the actor Lee Byung-Hun, is participating in the 30th Busan International Film Festival (Biff 2025). The timing of the SEO-Yi appearance, apparently on his way to see his father, made the post even more touching.
Lee Byung-Hun had recently shared his emotional experience of sending SEO-YI to the nursery school for the first time. Speaking on the Lee Min-Jung MJ YouTube channel, he confessed: “A few days ago, when I delivered it to the shuttle bus teacher, she cried so hard. I wanted to take it back, but I had no other choice than to let it go. It was the most difficult time for me.”
Lee Min-Jung and Lee Byung-Hun married in 2013 and welcomed their first child, a son named Joon-Hoo, in 2015. In December 2023, the couple again became parents with the birth of their daughter SEO-Yi, often called the “precious daughter of the family” affectionately.
