On the 17th, US music media “Consequence” selected LE SSERAFIM as “Rising Star” in its “The 2024 K-Pop Yearbook”. In particular, “Consequence” praised the group, saying: “The members of LE SSERAFIM have navigated the roller coaster of a year with kindness, openness and grace, welcoming more and more listeners into their incredibly fun world along the way.”
Through “Consequence,” SSERAFIM shared that their 2024 was filled with countless memories and experiences. Furthermore, the girl group expressed their gratitude to their fans, saying that thanks to them they were able to “they have many experiences and perform on various stages“, before promising “build on these experiences to give even more next year”.
Meanwhile, British fashion and culture magazine “Dazed” selected the mini track from LE SSERAFIM’s fourth album “CRAZY” as one of the “50 Best K-pop Tracks of 2024”.
The outlet wrote: “Accumulating 100 million streams on Spotify in two months, ‘Crazy’ turned to ballroom dancing and its choreography (the video also featured dancers from the iconic house of Juicy Couture) to produce a worthy addition to the most fabulous category of band: songs that make you feel like the baddest bitch that ever lived.
The American magazine “Teen Vogue” also praised LE SSERAFIM, stating: “Capitalizing on the huge success of 2023’s ‘Eve, Psyche, & The Bluebeard’s Wife’, girl group LE SSERAFIM pulled out all the stops for this year’s musical event, ‘Crazy’”adding that “If you think you’ve seen a wackier music video than ‘Crazy,’ think again.”
Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM’s fourth album track, “1-800-hot-n-fun,” secured 9th place on NME’s “25 Best K-pop Songs of 2024,” with magazine British musical which describes it as: “Anthem of a sexy and flirtatious girl” and a track “you’ll get repeat and speed dial for a wild night.”
The results of LE SSERAFIM also shone in the end-of-year rankings of broadcasts and music platforms. Japan’s largest cable broadcaster, USEN, ranked two of their songs, “EASY” (2nd) and “CRAZY” (7th), from their third mini album in the Top 10 of the “USEN Music Award 2024” chart “K-POP HIT” (calculated from November 24, 2023 to November 21, 2024). LE SSERAFIM is the only female group to have placed two songs in the Top 10 of the ranking.
Furthermore, the songs from the mini third album “Smart” and “EASY” took 1st and 5th place respectively in Spotify’s “Best K-pop Songs of 2024” chart, selected by the editors of the largest music streaming platform to the world, demonstrating their considerable global influence.
