Kwon Eun-bi hospitalized with second-degree facial burns after climbing Mount Kilimanjaro

On February 3, Kwon Eun-bi shared several photos on her personal social media account. The images showed close-up shots of parts of her face, including her nose and upper lip, where visible damage from the burns could be seen, sparking concern among fans.

Explaining the situation, Kwon Eun-bi wrote, “It looks like photos from a dermatology clinic, but it’s actually my face. After climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, I had second-degree burns on my nose and lips. I applied the ointment every single day without missing a day and kept the area covered.”

He added that even after some time had passed, he found persistent problems, saying: “As time went by, my face darkened, pigmentation appeared and there was redness. But now it’s getting better.”

In a final update, she shared a photo showing her skin largely restored to its original condition and wrote reassuringly, “It’s back. My nose.”

Previously, Kwon Eun-bi took on the challenge of Mount Kilimanjaro together with broadcaster Noh Hong-chul and actress Lee Si-young, drawing attention to the ambitious expedition.
