Loated extended prison but a good treatment?
On April 27, a Chinese average published new information that the former Exo member and the best star of the C-pop Kris Wu is facing a new serious accusation while needed time in prison. In particular, according to a lawyer from Tianjin, China, Kris Wu is now accused of tax evasion which involved a stunning sum of 300 million RMB (about $ 42 million USD). Incredibly, his mother is also implicated and can face the prison with her son.
The lawyer revealed that Kris Wu was transferred to the Chaoyang detention center in Beijing, waiting for trial for the new accusations. If sentenced, his current 13 -year sentence could be extended. This is because pursuant to article 60 of the Chinese criminal law, the phrases for multiple sentences are added together before subtracting the time already served.
In the meantime, according to another store, Kris Wu has done relatively well behind the bars, according to what reported as a “floor leader” and receiving a slightly better treatment than regular prisoners. The outlet says that Kris does not need to undertake cleaning shifts, while his meals are made up of steam sandwiches, napa cabbage and fried eggs with tomatoes. It is even said to have even earned 9 kilograms during his prison period.
The ex girlfriend and the informant is missing
While Kris Wu hastened to another legal battle, Netizens noticed a strange development: the influencer du Meizhu, his ex -girlfriend who caused his fall, remained completely silent for over 2 months. He stopped updating all his social media platforms, fueling countless voices and speculations.
In the meantime, in July 2021, Du Meizhu shook the entire entertainment industry accusing Kris Wu of drunk and drugs it before assaulting it. He also exhibited it for presumably attracted multiple minor girls under the pretext of offering them opportunities in the entertainment sector.
The authorities later confirmed the criminal acts of Kris Wu, stating that between November and December 2020, he intertwined three women intoxicated in his residence and, in July 2018, organized a “group sexual party” that involves friends and two other women.
At his latest trial, Kris Wu was sentenced to 13 years of prison for misconduct of rape and group sexual conduct. After serving his sentence, he will be permanently deported from China. Although he presented an appeal, the court firmly rejected him, stating that the crimes of the former star are too serious. In addition, Kris Wu was previously fined by 83.7 million RMB (over $ 11 million USD) for tax evasion and hiding personal income.
