Many half-Filipinos have gained recognition in the music scene over the years, but these idols of Filipino nationality and hailing from the Philippines have conquered the international scene with their talent.
Kriesha Chu
Kriesha was born in Cebu, Philippines to a Filipino mother and Chinoy father (Filipino and Chinese descent). She lived there until her family moved to California when she was a child.
In 2017, she debuted as a K-pop soloist with Urban Works after joining Kpop star 6.
Gehlee of UNIS
In 2007, Gehlee was born in Las Piñas to both Filipino parents. Before moving to Korea to join SBS Ticket of the Universeshe was a model and beauty queen in the Philippines.
In March she made her UNIS debut after securing fourth place in the survival show.
Elysia of UNIS

Born in 2009, Elisia is a Filipina from Puerto Princesa, Palawan.
Back in the Philippines, Elisia started her career at a young age as a YouTuber, child actress, and singer.

Consisting of seven members Vinci, Kim, Kyler, Reyster, Winston, Jeromy, and Marcus, HORI7ON is the first all-Filipino boy group to debut in South Korea under MLD Entertainment.
Fun fact: Elisia from UNIS and Marcus from HORI7ON are cousins!
Sophia from KATSEYE
Although Sophia was born in New York City, her nationality is Filipino. Her mother is Carla Guevara-Laforteza, a well-known stage actress, while her father Basilio Godfrey Laforteza III is a former dancer and is now an executive chef based in Manila.
Anthony from TOZ
Anthony lives in Japan, but was originally born and raised in Davao, Philippines. He is multilingual and can speak English, Tagalog, Japanese and Korean.
Song of LAPILLUS
Chanty debuted in LAPILLUS, HORI7ON’s sister group. She is half Argentinian with Filipino nationality.
