Kpop Demon Hunters – Soda pop texts, meaning and credits of songs

“Soda pop” is the third trace of the soundtrack of Kpop Demon Hunters and the debut song of the Boys Saja. Created by Demon Jinu to compete with Huntr/X, the group was formed to win fans with an attractive success designed to make them an instant feeling.

Ian Eisendrath, manufacturer of executive music by Kpop Demon Hunters, revealed in an interview with Tudum that the team aimed to “create one of those songs by Super Bubblegum-Y K-Pop Boy Band in the style of a song like” Butter “of BTS”. That vision came to life through “Soda Pop”, the third trace of the soundtrack of Kpop Demon Hunters and the debut single of the Boys Saja a K-Pop group formed by the Demon Jinu to rival Huntr/X targeting their greatest weakness: fans.

To challenge the popularity of Huntr/X, Jinu brought together four more demons and made a song designed to be contagious, captivating and unforgettable that he would transform the guys of Saja into sensations overnight. Lirically, “soda pop” explores an overwhelming thirst for someone, describing them as “my little lemonade”, with the desire that intensifies with every sip.

The track left its mark on the rankings, debuting at number 49 on hot 100 during the week of tracking that ends on July 12, 2025 and climbing to a new summit of #35 of the following week.
