They asked for more than just Min Hee Jin’s reinstatement.
It had already been said previously New Jeans had sent a legal notice to I LOVE ITinforming them that if their requests were not accepted, their exclusivity contract would be terminated. This was done on the basis that ADOR was in breach of contract.
Subsequently, Korean media expanded their coverage of the girls’ requests. According to news reports, not only had the girls called for action to be taken against HYBE’s previous statement, as in their internal report, about throwing the girls away, but more attention had also been called for the group.
The girls demanded a formal apology from the manager, who told another group to ignore Hanni, as well as the deletion of videos and photos used without their consent. NewJeans also asked ADOR to address losses caused by HYBE by proposing to use chart manipulation, as well as chart manipulation from other HYBE groups.

NewJeans also asked ADOR to preserve NewJeans’ unique artistic identity and called for the reinstatement of the former CEO Min Hee Jin. “We want Min Hee-jin to resume managing ADOR and producing for NewJeans as before. Bring back the ADOR we enjoyed working with until March 2024, under his leadership. We miss the enthusiasm and creativity we shared with her,” the partners underline.
