Korean ARMIES begin funeral wreath protest to demand Suga’s withdrawal from BTS

After RIIZE Seunghan, some ARMYs apparently followed suit and started sending protest wreaths in front of HYBE to call for Suga’s departure from the group.

On October 20, members of the K-pop community, especially the BTS fandom, were alarmed after learning that Suga had received funeral wreaths, requiring the idol’s forced retirement from the septet.

The fan who organized the protest in front of HYBE said that it was an event permitted by the Yongsan Police Station.

With this they warned anyone who wanted to interrupt or damage the flower crowns that they would be immediately reported to the police and accused of damaging property.

Currently, there are bodyguards protecting the wreaths from potentially being destroyed by other fans.

Footage of the scene circulated on X (formerly Twitter), revealing that the garland ribbons contained the lyrics “The stage is no place for criminals”, “A criminal wants to be an idol? It is a crime against humanity.” ,” and more.

At the time he achieved a blood alcohol content of 0.227%, the highest among idols. While he faced a prison sentence of 2 to 5 years for driving with this BAC, he was only fined 15 million KRW ($11,000).

This protest is expected to last three days, i.e. until October 22nd. But the crowns have already been removed from the company on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the OT7 ARMIES have shown strong opposition to this move. They continue to report the aforementioned group to the authorities.

Previously, K-BRIIZE OT6 (RIIZE fans) also sent over 1,000 flower crowns in front of SM, and in the end, Seunghan was removed from the team for dating and smoking during his pre-debut days.

Attention is being paid to the position that the HYBE agency will take towards the fans’ corona protest.
