The romantic relationship between Kimura Kokomi, the eldest daughter of legendary Japanese entertainer Kimura Takuya and singer Kudo Shizuka, has been officially made public.
According to a report by Shukan Bunshun, Kokomi is currently dating professional volleyball player Ogawa Tomohiro. The publication shared photos of the two on a casual outing, shopping together and sharing a light kiss before Kokomi returned to Tokyo.
A source close to the couple told Bunshun that Kokomi and Ogawa have been in a long-distance relationship for about two years, with Kokomi based in Tokyo and Ogawa playing for a professional team in Osaka.
Fans found the connection particularly endearing given that Kokomi is known to be a fan of the hit volleyball anime Haikyu!! . In 2024, she was seen wearing a headband to support the Japan men’s national volleyball team, the same team Ogawa represented.
