After touring for about 4 months in 7 cities, Kim Soo-hyun concluded his spectacular “EYES ON YOU” Asian tour with a final fan meeting at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium on October 19th.
The fan meeting began with the performance of the OST “Love You With All My Heart” from her recent drama “Queen of Tears” and the OST “Dreaming” from her first starring work “Dream High” (2011). During the event, Kim Soo-hyun engaged fans with her charismatic spirit, sharing everything from behind-the-scenes stories from her Asia tour to exclusive insights into “Queen of Tears.” To celebrate its first fan meeting in Seoul in ten years, it has prepared a series of special events, including interactive quizzes, games and exclusive gifts for its devoted fans.
In what essentially became a full-fledged concert, Kim Soo-hyun showed off his versatility by performing an impressive 15-song setlist. The well-curated setlist, which seamlessly blended various genres from ballads to rock, pop and even trot, evoked enthusiastic responses from the audience. The spectacular 190-minute event was further enhanced by the accompaniment of a live band that perfectly complemented Kim Soo-hyun’s proven vocal abilities, along with extraordinary stage direction.
As this marked the last stop of his 2024 Asian tour, fans prepared their own surprise events that left Kim Soo-hyun visibly emotional. When presented with sincere messages like “South Korea is lucky to have Kim Soo-hyun,” “We’ve been here for 10 years and will watch over you for another 50,” “Happy to be a fan of Kim Soo-hyun,” AND “We are together every day, every moment,” the actor burst into tears before replying with a heartfelt “I love you, all of you.” He then gave fans thrilling encore performances, personally singing the OST “Way Home” from “Queen of Tears,” followed by the OST “Only You, My Love” from “The Moon Embracing The Sun.”
After spending 2024 connecting with her global fan base through her Asian tour, Kim Soo-hyun revealed her next project, the Disney+ series “Knock Off,” pointing to an equally busy 2025. “Knock Off” follows the journey of a man whose life has been dramatically changed by the International Monetary Fund crisis, chronicling his transformation from an ordinary office worker to the king of the global counterfeiting market. Kim Soo-hyun will play the role of Kim Sung-joon, the ruler of the world of counterfeiting.
