According to reports, their decision is based on concerns that engaging in a public dispute could obscure the true essence of the matter.
The accusations of Lee Jin-Ho and the response of the family
Lee Jin-Ho recently claimed to have obtained an audio recording from January 8, in which a woman, presumably Kim Sae-S, admitted her marriage and pregnancy during a conversation with a representative of the entertainment agency. This date coincided with the now deleted Instagram post by Kim Sa-Se-Sore who presented the word “Marry” Next to a photo with a man.
Lee also argued that while Kim Sae-Se-Se-Soe publicly condemned Kim Soo-Hyun, he was actually experiencing a life just married to another man, based on the recorded conversation. However, his statements have aroused an intense repercussions, with many who criticized him for trying to move the fee of the controversy in a non -ethical way.
In response, Kim Sae-Se-Se-Se’s family has filed a cause of defamation against Lee Jin-Ho on March 17 for disseminating false information. The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency accepted the complaint on March 18th and assigned the case to the Seodemun Police Station for further investigations.

Lee Jin-Ho has been known for some time for having published more videos on the personal struggles of Kim Sae-Ron, including his Dui accident in 2022 and his disappearance in February 2024. The family accused him of having repeatedly caused his serious emotional anguish while he was alive.
In his defense, Lee Jin-Ho said on March 10 that he had been in contact with the managers of Kim Sae-S, also discussing the possibility of helping her to return to the entertainment sector. He said that every time he presented himself a negative problem, he would have contacted his managers instead of covering him in his videos. He insisted on the fact that he never created content with harmful intent or to defame Kim Sae-Sign.
After the disappearance of Kim Sae-Ron on February 16, Lee privatized all the videos relating to her, claiming that it was made out of respect. However, the family believes that this action was an attempt to destroy the tests, pushing them to solicit the police to conduct a digital forensic investigation on its channel.
The family requires legal action against “IT demolitions”
Kim Sae-Se-Se-See-Sae has strongly condemned YouTuber such as Lee Jin-Ho, underlining the need for the most rigorous legal consequences against the so-called “computer demolitions” that exploit sensitive issues for opinions and profits. They argue that these individuals have crossed ethical boundaries and contributed to the immense emotional anguish, not only for Kim Sae-Sra while he was alive but also for his family in mourning. The family has further expressed their frustration for the current legal system, which they consider inadequate in facing the damage caused by harmful online content.
They declared, “What Lee Jin-Ho and others have done is a crime. However, in the context of the current legal framework, it is difficult to consider them responsible for anything beyond defamation. Our only hope is that this case acts as a catalyst for legal and institutional reforms, ensuring that the media support its responsibilities and that these tragedies never occur again.”
By pushing for stronger legal protections against harassment and online defamation, Kim Sae-Se-Se-Se-See hope that no other individual or family will have to endure similar suffering. They are asking for a systemic change, urging the authorities to take more decisive actions against the practices of reckless media and the spread of harmful disinformation.
