Kim Sae Ron’s ex -boyfriend came out to say that Kim Soo Hyun was not part in his death.
Kim Sae Ron’s ex -boyfriend “K” held an exclusive interview with the media, in which he told them what happened in his last days before his death.
Abused by her husband
Kim Sae Ron met her husband in November 2024 and two married at the beginning of 2025. However, her husband would have abused both physically and verbally. For this reason, Kim Sae Ron would have found comfort and support with “K”, who made her husband even more angry. Once her husband realized that she was still communicating with “K”, she took her the phone, she began to monitor her actions closely and abuse her verbally.
This situation ended up giving Kim Sae Ron serious stress, at the point where he tried to self -harm several times.

Kim Sae Ron: Mental call me.
Kim Sae Ron: I continue to be cursed and beaten, nothing changes.
“K”: report it. I want me to die. Why is this fucking so irritating?
Kim Sae Ron: since it is American that it won’t even work.
Kim Sae Ron: Sorry, I’m so sorry.
He also shared a screenshot of a direct Instagram message from his husband (then boy).
I am the boy from Sae Ron. Do not contact her again and don’t even think of meeting her. This is my last warning. I know you met with her on Christmas Eve and Christmas. I am holding back, even if I want to kill you, so I’m blocking you. Please fuck unnecessary piece of s ***.

Kim Sae Ron continued to send a message to “K”, even trusting in him that he was the most precious person in the world for her, but he didn’t want to hurt him.
Kim Sae Ron: that’s not the case. It’s not as I feel. I was a bad person for you, but I still want to tell you everything.
“K”: your boyfriend cursed me, he told me to die and called me garbage through the DMS. Do you know how I felt when I read it?
Kim Sae Ron: I started seeing him in November. At the beginning, I couldn’t share it and you constantly had a difficult time. I was fighting and I couldn’t rely on you. The truth is that I was alone and I needed someone who would be there to listen to me and help me solve my problems. But that [help] It was temporary. Later, he started traveling my KakaoTalk messages and photos, violated my Instagram, struck me and cursed me. I was so frightened, that’s why I couldn’t break with him. I am always afraid that you had wounded because of me, so I said we should break. And this happened. You were the most precious person for me and I didn’t want to feel unnecessary things or hurt me. I didn’t want my greed to make me trust you. In the end, I created this situation and left you in pain and with scars. But the time I spent with you was not a lie. There was no hesitation. You have been the most precious love for me … [cut off]
The family that cut the ties with Kim Sae Ron
“K” he said he had struggled heavily because of his family’s indifference towards his personal situation. He revealed that on 1 November 2024 he tried to self -harm and requested emergency surgery. Although his family is informed of this, none of them showed up to be there for her in her moment of need, with only “K” that is at her side until she was discharged from the hospital. His former agency covered the hospital taxes.
When I brought Sae Ron at home after he was discharged, his mother and friend of her mother were randomly eating at home. He did not seem surprised or showed signs of empathy.
This type of reaction of his family is the reason why he has always wanted to escape.

“K” said Kim Sae Ron would continue to confide in him after his marriage and opened on his attempts to self -harm.

“K” therefore strongly refuted the statements that Kim Soo Hyun was to blame for his death, instead restricting attention to his family.
As someone who knew Sae Ron better than anyone else, it is absurd for me that his aunt appears suddenly, he says he is part of his family in mourning and is now pushing the narrative that Kim Sae Ron died because of Kim Soo Hyun. If your biological parents are not even those who come forward, is no longer likely that they were the ones you wanted to escape?
How can a daughter get married without her family knowing it? I can understand, though. The fact that none of them knew about his marriage to the New York man shows how little communication was. They barely worried when he was alive. But now that they have gone, they are digging a relationship of years ago with a famous actor? There must be a separate reason behind this. I have never met Kim Soo Hyun, but given his fame, I can only think about how unfair is.

To conclude his interview with the fact, “K” has signed and stamped a declaration with his number of social social security as a credibility show. He also shared a vocal recording of Kim Sae Ron in the hospital, saying that he needed surgery and that the cost would be ₩ 5.00 million krw (about $ 3,410 USD). But the person he called was not his family, rather one of his knowledge.
