During the broadcast, the hosts cautiously brought up the previous dispute over the singer-actor’s assault, noting that comments about the incident would inevitably surface. Kim Hyun Joong replied, “I don’t know. The lawyer took care of the matter at the time.” He confirmed that the legal issues have since been resolved, saying: “Everything was resolved, but it took a long time to be found not guilty.” Reflecting on the prolonged legal battle, he concluded, “Because it took a long time, I neither gained nor lost anything.”
When asked if he felt the situation was unfair, Kim Hyun Joong responded that he doesn’t feel unfair about what happened. He explained that, as a public figure, he has come to understand that legal innocence and public perception do not always coincide.
In the same episode, Kim Hyun Joong also promoted his upcoming concert scheduled for March 7 and 8 at KBS Arena Hall and shared his intention to continue working as both a singer and an actor.
