Kim Doyeon recently spoke in an interview with Chosun about his new chapter in life. Kim Doyeon was part of Weki Meki, a group that was active from 2017 to 2024. They announced their disbandment in August 2024.
Doyeon has been active as an actress ever since. He talked about his regrets about the group and his exciting new path in life. Doyeon recently starred in Amoeba girls and school ghost stories: school anniversary.
As he works hard on his new path, he can’t help but feel reluctant to leave his life as a member of Weki Meki behind.
After Weki Meki disbanded, I felt a lot of regret. The members feel the same way. Haven’t we all struggled and worked hard to get to this point? That’s why he was sorry, but now we all have to go our own way. It’s inevitable. I think we worked so hard, that’s why it felt like a shame. All members have found what they like to do and consider it a second chapter in their lives. We don’t want to continue to feel regret, but instead we want to find the courage to start again happily.
