December 17 tvN’s Take the block quiz Episode 323 will feature a special segment titled “Without Going Crazy.” Alongside Kim Da-mi, the episode features SNS suicide prevention monitor Yoo Gyu-jin and actress Kim Seol (Reply 1988), and Detective Kim Jang-soo, who solved Sinjeong-dong’s unsolved serial murder case twenty years ago.
Kim Da-mi talks about her first inspiration while watching similar dramas stairway to Heaven AND Everything insidepracticing acting through childhood games, and because he didn’t audition until his senior year of college.
Reveal its name, meaning “everything is fine”, reflects her life, as she has continually reinvented herself with each project.
For his debut film The witchKim Da-mi was chosen as the protagonist after a 1500:1 competition, following the director’s bold statement: “I’ll bet on you.” She prepared extensively, including studying English, obtaining a Class 1 truck license and action training, all to meet the demanding requirements of the role.
As for his first leading drama, Itaewon classKim Da-mi shares her heartfelt feelings about her global success: “I felt like I had used up all my luck at once.”
