From installing spy cameras to overloading them, VCHA member KG detailed in a 77-page report how JYP Entertainment staff abused and mistreated the group.
On December 8, KG took to SNS to announce her withdrawal from the VCHA following a lawsuit filed against JYP Entertainment to terminate her exclusive contract.
Here, he confessed that his departure was caused by the mental and physical abuse he suffered from the label’s staff. The idol also accused the company of child labor, overworking and exhausting minors without adequate compensation.
KG revealed that despite being paid just $500 a week, she racked up a $500,000 debt after staying in a $2.5 million mansion they were forced to reside in.
In a 77-page document submitted by her lawyer, evidence and testimony were collected about what JYP did to her and the VCHA.
KG revealed that before their debut in September 2023, she lived a controlled life, obeying the strict schedules the staff had prepared for her. He began a 7am to 2am routine, depriving a 17-year-old teenager of a social life or even sufficient sleep.
During the promotion, the staff ignored their mental and physical health, forcing them to skip meals to lose weight despite strenuous training. KG also tore a tendon while dancing, but the coach forced her to proceed without letting her recover.

This torment led to one member attempting to harm himself in February 2024 by taking 42 Nyquil pills, but staff covered this up by concluding it was only due to an eating disorder, which is “common.” Members were told to lie and say it was food poisoning.
What’s worse, JYP also surveilled the VCHA by installing spy cameras and recording their private conversations, movements and meals without their knowledge.
