On December 5, Kep1er’s agency announced through the group’s official fan café that Chinese member Xiaoting will temporarily withdraw from group activities to focus on his individual activities in China.
The agencies stated: “Following in-depth discussions with Xiaoting’s original agency in November, it was decided that he will engage in more personal activities in China starting in December.”
They further explained, “As a result, Xiaoting will not be able to participate in Kep1er’s planned activities for the time being. We kindly ask for fans’ understanding.”
However, Xiaoting’s fans expressed anger and accused the agency of lying, pointing out that Xiaoting’s Chinese agency, TOPCLASS, included conflicting details.
Notably, TOPCLASS has previously stated: “Xiaoting’s personal plans are confirmed in advance after full communication with the Korean side, and the current situation in Korea is more complicated, and the safety and health of artists are our first considerations. Therefore, it is not due to individual activities in China that prevent her from participating in the fansign.”

“We are willing to make changes as much as possible to Xiaoting’s participation in the group’s activities and cooperate fully”the agency also added.
Furthermore, it is known that previously, on December 4, Xiaoting had published a story of the character Pinocchio with a long nose, suggesting that someone was lying, before immediately deleting the story.

Following the announcement of the group’s discontinuation of activities, Xiaoting also posted a message apologizing to fans, asking them to wait for her.
