The event, held at the Yea24 Live Hall in Seoul on Monday, was held to celebrate his new solo album after being recently discharged by the military. During the showcase, Kai held a thanksgiving speech to the fans who have just performed his final song for the night in which he suddenly moved away from the public and seemed to cry in an uncontrollable way.
Kai asked for a moment of silence to compose himself, visibly overwhelmed by the occasion. He explained to the fans that the reality of his return has only affected him at that moment.
“It is because things have not been real so far. And everyone must have been tired since it is a Monday. For those who have come down … wait, you can be shut up for a moment? I can’t …” him he said.

The showcase marked the return of Kai on stage after a two -year break, following his military resignation in February 2025. “Wait for me” It is his fourth mini solo album. The album also presents the single pre-relese “Adult Swim”, as well as traces such as “Walls Don’t Talk”, “pressure”, “Ridin ‘”, “Off and Away” and “Flight to Paris”. Kai described the album as a reflection of its growth and gratitude.
Kai is destined to take a solo tour through Asia, starting from two concerts in Seoul in May. The shows will continue in the city such as Kuala Lumpur, Macao, Jakarta, Singapore and more. Kai said he hopes that the tour will be an opportunity to return to the fans who have waited for him.
