On January 7, a video entitled “Did you think it was a wedding house? Tour of a 1940’s solo boy’s dream house” was uploaded to the “Hyungsoo Is K.Will” YouTube channel, giving fans a peek into K.Will’s newly renovated three-story home.
When asked about marriage, K.Will laughed and said: “If I thought it was realistically possible, I would call it a goal.” As for blind dates, he admitted, “There was one. I didn’t think about settling down. I preferred to meet people in a natural way. But I realized that it might not work anymore.”
He told a funny story involving his mother encouraging him to date: “He once tried to set me up with someone, and I thought the woman was a pastor’s daughter. I told my mother, ‘If you keep doing this, I’ll marry a Muslim woman instead!'” Finally, after confirming that the woman was not a pastor’s daughter, he accepted the appointment.
Reflecting on that experience, he shared, “It was fun. He was a good person. We met about three times. But I realized how much influence the person who introduced you has. Everyone around me started asking me, ‘So are you getting married?’ and I felt pressured. It made me back down.”

K.Will admitted that his home renovation fueled the rumors. “People, including season ticket holders, are always suspicious that I’m dating someone. Now even more so, because I renovated the house,” he said. When the staff teased, “It must be a wedding house!” K.Will responded jokingly, “Didn’t I tell you? You’ve been here, does it look like a wedding house to you?”
He continued to joke about the situation, imitating reeling a fishing rod when staff said: “This is a scoop!”

In a playful tone, K.Will finally addressed the elephant in the room: “So yes, I renovated my house. Why? Well…” paused dramatically, before smiling and revealing, “Ta-da! It’s for the home gym!”
K.Will’s sincere and funny response to the rumors not only entertained fans but also reaffirmed his recognizable appeal as one of Korea’s beloved solo artists.
