Ever since Seunghan’s departure was announced, the news has left the K-pop community divided. The news reached the boiling point, where BRIIZE and other K-pop fandoms took a stand against SM Entertainment. In a new update, K-pop stores have also expressed their stance.
According to numerous posts on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), many K-pop shops around the world appeared to be joining the boycott. In addition to not streaming their releases or avoiding brands that RIIZE is signed to, it also involves avoiding purchases of their merch or albums.
BRIIZE have shared their opinion regarding the boycott, and many support the act.
I don’t want to get ahead of myself, but seeing all these BIG kpop shops standing with us for this protest… something big is about to happen… https://t.co/z6WTENNQGo
