One of the biggest awards of the year is the MAMA Awards, bringing together idols from all eras and celebrating a successful year of music.

With so many talented idols, some popular stars were missed from the nomination list, but some sparked anger among netizens as they believed that groups and artists had been “ripped off” and “snubbed” by the event.
One group that netizens were shocked by the “lack” of awards was MONSTER CHILD. After their new debut, the group showed their influence with their releases and shows, but also by consolidating their talent and live voice during performances.

The lack of nominations of another group that shocked fans was THE DOORS
Aside from fans’ choice and “Album of the Year”, ATEEZ were not nominated for any other awards, which shocked fans, especially after the successful year the group had with their releases, but also with global performances including tours and Coachella. For many fans, netizens were furious that Mnet seemingly disrespected the group, and not for the first time.

Another shock to fans was the omission of THE SERAPHINSs “Perfect Night”, which was a huge success and was expected to be nominated.
Perfect Night is not nominated for SOTY when it is the song with the most points and nominated for CRAZY when it was released 1 month ago and has almost no points.
We expected them to be ripped off by the judges but they have been ripped off before.

With so much success in K-Pop, some artists have unfortunately been left out, but netizens believe that some have been unfairly robbed of nominations, including artists like DAY6, ITZY and many other successful idols.
