Recently, there have been more instances of k-pop idols that have made cultural appropriation. Some of the first to attract attention came from an alleged YG Entertainment leaker who shared multiple clips of Blackpink Members who use the word N in the covers of the songs.
Presumably they trapted Blackpink videos that said the N-Word online surface
After this loss, somehow, an artist’s song became viral.
Also included in the loss of YG there was a cover performed by 2ne1‘S ClWho has said the word n several times.

The song is by the American artist Lil ‘KimWhich is known for songs such as “Magic Stick”, “The Jump Off” and his film on “Lady Marmalade”. To be specific, CL covered a trace of Lil ‘Kim’s The naked truth Entitled “Woah”, which was released as a second single of the album in 2005.

While many criticized CL on the cover, later something surprising took place.
On Tiktok, the track has been used in many videos since CLO’s cover was leaked, with a video with over 4 million views. Many clip accreditano CL for bringing the track to their attention, even if it was not in the best way.

During the search for Lil ‘Kim on Spotify, “Woah” is one of the self -listening suggestions rather than some of his most popular songs, showing that people have recently searched recently.
While cultural appropriation is wrong, it is interesting to see the 20 -year -old song be introduced to a new audience that was probably children when it was released.
