Recently, a topic entitled “Jennie’s School Bullying is well buried” was published on the Korean forum Nate Pan, attracting significant attention.
The topic in question recalled a 2012 post on Corean Forum Intiz, supporting this Jennie di BlackpinkSo a YG entertainment trainee had been involved in school bullying during his period in New Zealand. The anonymous author claimed to have attended the same class with Jennie around 2010, adding that they were victims of bullying and ostracization from Jennie and his foreign friends, to the point that they contemplated suicide.
The post continued to portray her Jennie as someone who looked down on other Koreans, claiming that Jennie had the personality in which everything had to go on her way and that the female idol would launch juice, garbage and balls against them as she laughed.
The author also included several photos of the annual, together with his signature, as “test” for their accusations. Furthermore, despite the dispute, YG Entertainment did not issue an official declaration that faced the accusations.
While since then the problem has been forgotten, the topic just published that made him resurface, leading to heavy debates. Fortunately, while there are some criticisms, most of the comments under the new topic defends Jennie, with the Netizen stressing that the accusations of bullying were already denied.
At the time, fans noticed various discrepancies and information not corresponding to the statements and the accuser has constantly changed their words before completely eliminating their post. Now, the Netizen only derive the author of the topic, leaving comments like, “The statements are not even true, so leave Jennie alone” AND “Are you so jealous of Jennie’s songs at the top of the ranking that you have resorted to tactics so dirty?”.
