K-Media praises the fourth generation girl group without controversy over their live performances since debut

Amid the stigma that fourth-generation K-pop groups have “poor” live performance skills, this girl group is an exception for their outstanding and stable vocals since debut.

With the influx of K-pop groups in this era, fans not only look for good music, visuals and concepts, but choose to boast idols with excellent live skills.

For this reason, many of them, even the most popular teams, are criticized for not meeting fans’ expectations. However, there are plenty of artists who are talented enough to surpass those standards.

Among them, K-media WikiTree has named one girl group that will never be involved in a live performance controversy – and it’s none other than STAYC!

Since their debut in 2020, STAYC have consistently received favorable reviews for their vocal stability. They are known for constantly performing live, refusing to perform while lip syncing.

As for why they choose to perform live, Sieun justified it in a previous interview.

“I think we can feel the stage, the breath and the energy more when we perform live. That’s why I like performing live on stage more.”

Due to their solid skills, they became famous for many songs such as “STEREOTYPE”, “ASAP”, “RUN2U”, “Teddy Bear” and others.

Four years after their debut, they continued to showcase their position as a vocal powerhouse, now with their single album, “…I”, released on October 30, which contains two songs, “GPT” and “Meant to Be “. “

On the album, they unveiled an a cappella version of the title track, which is unusual for the current K-pop era where AR or backtracks are rampant.

Unfortunately, with their strong competitors from the “BIG 4” and medium-sized companies, STAYC, who debuted under the small label High Up Entertainment, is considered an “underrated” group.
