I will do my best to create more opportunities for young artists. In addition to spreading Korean culture, I hope K-pop can become a bridge where people all over the world understand and connect to each other.”

He closed thanking Minister Choi Hwi-Young for sharing responsibility, saying that he gave him the courage to accept the position.

Kang Hoon-Sik highlighted the meaning of Park Jin-Young’s appointment: “Park Jin-Yung is one of the most respected artists of Korea and has worked tirelessly for the globalization of K-pop. With its leadership, we believe that Korea can further browse as a cultural power while promoting deeper cultural exchanges with the world.”
