On December 4, JYP announced: “On November 27 (KST), the American weekly TIME and the German market analysis company Statista compiled the “best companies in the world in terms of sustainable growth in 2025”. In the Technology, Media and Services sector, JYP ranked 3rd globally and 1st in South Korea, making it the only Asian company to make the Top 10.“
The two companies ahead of JYP were Solaria Energía y Medio Ambiente and Grenergy Renovables, both in the utilities sector, which ranked 1st and 2nd respectively. Following JYP in the ranking are Intuit (4th), a US technology, media and services company, and Beazley (5th), a British insurance, healthcare and social services company.
The “World’s Best Companies in Sustainable Growth 2025” evaluates 500 companies around the world that excel in maintaining strong financial stability while achieving exceptional performance in sustainable development. TIME and Statista determined the final rankings based on combined scores for revenue growth, financial stability and environmental impact, assigning equal weight to each factor (out of 100 points). JYP scored a whopping 93.66 points.
Statista explained: “JYP achieved high scores in all categories: revenue growth rate, financial stability and sustainability. Particularly noteworthy is the significant use of green energy and inclusion in the top 5% of low-carbon companies. It is rare for a company to achieve such balanced performance across all metrics.“
JYP’s commitment to sustainability has been widely recognized. In 2023, it received the highest ESG Rating (AA) among domestic K-pop entertainment companies in Morgan Stanley Capital International’s (MSCI) ESG Rating. Additionally, in 2022, JYP became the first domestic entertainment company to release a sustainability report documenting its ESG efforts and activities, paving the way towards a sustainable future.
In June this year, JYP released its third sustainability management report, detailing the findings of its dual materiality assessment. This assessment considers both the impact of company activities on the environment and society, and the financial implications of sustainability issues on company operations.
Under the leadership of JY Park, JYP and its artists have actively contributed to society through initiatives under the vision “Every Dream Counts!: All Dreams are Precious”. The programs include the “EDM Medical Expense Support Project”, “EDM Volunteer Activities” and “Love Earth”, which aim to support children’s dreams and create healthier living environments.
Additionally, on November 30, JYP launched the “JYP Basketball Tournament,” a charity amateur basketball event aimed at supporting the medical expenses of underprivileged children. All event fees are donated to Samsung Medical Center to fund the treatment of underserved pediatric patients. JYP further contributes with additional donations, strengthening its commitment to social responsibility.
