On September 6 at midnight KST, the two JYJ members revealed a mysterious teaser on a newly launched social media account under the name “JX”: Short for Jae Joong and XIA (Junsu’s stage name).
The teaser included visually arresting images, showing the profiles of both artists’ faces against a dark background, with the word “IDENTITY” prominently displayed. Along with the images, a trailer was released showing scenes of serene nature and voice-over narration by Jae Joong and Junsu. The narrative highlighted the two’s enduring friendship and unwavering support for each other throughout their careers, despite the various challenges they faced. The teaser also ends with a hint that they are entering a new phase of their journey, leaving fans eager to see what their next collaboration will bring.
JYJ through all the years
As members of JYJ, which also includes Yoo-chun ParkKim Jae Joong and Kim Junsu are no strangers to overcoming hardships, especially after their departure from TVXQ and the legal battles that followed. The group, which takes its name from the initials of their names, has since separated from their previous agency, C-JeS Entertainment.Jae Joong has since founded his own agency, CODEwhile Junsu is now running PALM ISLE.
