JYJ‘S Jae Joong was once an important member of TVXQ. As the visual center of the group, he was one of the most popular members. The group was so successful that they are still often considered the best group of their generation.
Things took a different turn when the three members of JYJ filed an injunction against SM Entertainment in 2009 to suspend their exclusive contracts. They claimed unfair distribution of profits, slave-like contracts, and lack of transparency in finances. The court ruled in their favor with a partial injunction, but the boys were quietly “blacklisted” for years due to their strong ties to SM Entertainment.
Although the boys are all fine now, the legal battle period was dark for both the members and fans. Because of this, an Instagram update from Jaejoong’s young niece went viral for how she accidentally put her foot in her mouth. It’s currently Chuseok in South Korea, where the family is visiting extended family. Jaejoong’s niece went to spend time with her uncle. She shared her love for NCT.
