In February 2022, Kang Han shared Jung Woo-sung’s touching story on KTV’s web variety show “Kkondae Grandma”. Kang Han explained, “I have lived in an orphanage since childhood as I grew up without parents. My mother gave birth to me at 15, but I never met her.” After leaving the orphanage at 18, Kang Han became a member of the national bobsled team in 2019 and 2021, but was unable to compete in the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics due to a leg injury.
